StopTech's Big Brake Kit is a balanced brake upgrade system engineered, specifically to your car, to directly replace the stock brake system. The forged calipers have application specific piston sizes to provide the correct brake torque output using the vehicle's original master cylinder. This maintains proper brake bias for better modulation and control especially under hard braking. Also, these calipers have patented bolt in bridges to increase stiffness which greatly reduces system compliance resulting in a firm and responsive pedal. You will instantly notice a great improvement. Additionally, these calipers have dust boots for extended street use without requiring rebuild.
The 2-piece curved vane, floating AeroRotors are specifically designed to allow independent expansion of the rotor and hat due to the elongated drive pin holes. AeroRotor components include an AeroRotor friction ring with a patented AeroVane design and pre-assembled directional billet aluminium AeroHat with directional stand-offs to optimize cooling airflow. The patented AeroVane design pushes up to 61% more air for better cooling and reduced fade. StopTech AeroRotors are 100% made in the USA, with both casting and machining taking place in California.
